About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work at a Tesla service center. You will gain hands-on experience with electric vehicles and learn about vehicle service operations. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on Tesla vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections for new cars.
- Maintain accurate records of time, inventory, parts, and shop supplies.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness and support Parts and Front of House operations.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Familiarity with the English language.
