About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term. You will gain hands-on experience with electric vehicle technology while working in a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on electric vehicles.
- Operate various hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new cars.
- Manage inventory, track time, and handle shop supplies and parts.
- Assist with vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Support Parts and Front of House operations on a rotational basis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office applications.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Ability to report to the local service center as required.
