About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee intern, you will work at our service center to inspect, repair, and service electric vehicles. This is a full-time, hands-on role where you will learn about electric vehicle technology while supporting our daily operations. You will interact with customers and work alongside our service team.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections and repairs on electric vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Complete equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles.
- Maintain records of time, inventory, shop supplies, and parts.
- Clean customer vehicles.
- Support parts and front-of-house operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with web browsers and Microsoft Office.
- A focus on safety and the ability to work well in a team.
- Familiarity with the English language.

- This internship is based in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- The term is for Fall 2026.
- This is a paid position at $22.50 per hour.
