About the role#
This internship focuses on construction project management within the infrastructure department. You will work with project managers to support daily operations, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and subcontractors, to track project success and meet expansion needs.
What you'll do#
- Support daily project tasks including scheduling and coordination.
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress, assist with problem-solving, and ensure safety compliance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation like reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including team members and suppliers.
- Assist with data entry and analysis for project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure construction activities follow building codes and company specifications.
- Provide administrative support such as organizing files and preparing presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Locations: Austin, TX; Anderson, TX; Buffalo, NY; Fremont, CA; Lathrop, CA; Sparks, NV.
- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, on-site position.
- Requirements: You must be actively enrolled in an academic program to participate.
