About the role#
As a Service Technician Trainee Intern, you will work at our service center to inspect, repair, and maintain Tesla electric vehicles. You will gain hands-on experience with electric vehicle technology and support our daily service operations. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level inspections, repairs, and service on vehicles.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections on new cars.
- Maintain inventory, time records, shop supplies, and parts.
- Support vehicle cleanliness for customer cars.
- Assist with Parts and Front of House operations as needed.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- A valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Strong focus on safety in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsers and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with the English language.
- Ability to report to the local service center as required.

- Compensation: $22.50 per hour plus benefits.
