About the role#
This internship supports the Service Programs Team in Customer Experience. You will help improve the service visit experience by analyzing data and translating your findings into strategies for the field. The role requires you to bridge business operations with software development concepts to create scalable solutions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze CSAT, survey comments, and operational data to identify customer experience drivers and pain points.
- Collaborate with service teams to understand frontline constraints and the actual customer visit experience.
- Develop SQL and Excel-based models to quantify the impact of operational changes and CX programs.
- Create visualizations and reports to share your findings with stakeholders.
- Work with software and product teams to evaluate or design tools that support advisor workflow and communication.
- Quantify the tradeoffs between operational efficiency and customer experience factors like wait times and appointment reliability.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field.
- You have prior experience with SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
- You possess strong business acumen and can connect data insights to operational goals.
- You have a foundational understanding of software development structures.
- You are a proactive problem-solver with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You can connect operational tradeoffs to specific customer outcomes.
Location & details#
- Location: Austin, Texas.
- Term: Winter 2027 through Spring 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week), on-site.
- Duration: Minimum of 12 weeks.
- This is a paid internship for students actively enrolled in an academic program.
