About the role#
As a Collision Technician Trainee Intern, you will join the team responsible for repairing electric vehicles. This role focuses on learning technical skills while supporting senior technicians in a shop environment. You will gain exposure to electric vehicle technology and collision repair processes.
What you'll do#
- Perform entry-level repair work on Tesla vehicles under guidance.
- Use a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Handle collision repair tasks such as disassembly, reassembly, paint prep, detailing, and mechanical operations.
- Assist with estimating and maintaining records of time, parts, and shop supplies.
- Support both front and back of house operations.
What you'll need#
- Knowledge of collision repair methods and techniques.
- Current enrollment in a Collision or Automotive program is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Basic computer skills, including web browsing and Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A safety-first attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Familiarity with the English language.
