About the role#
Tenstorrent is seeking a Finance/Operations Intern to join the Finance team in Santa Clara. This role focuses on the intersection of accounting fundamentals, data analytics, and process automation. You will gain hands-on experience supporting accounting operations while utilizing technology to improve efficiency within a hardware manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Analyze accounting data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline recurring workflows such as reconciliations, reporting, and journal entry preparation.
- Support fixed asset tracking, depreciation schedules, reconciliation accuracy, and month-end close activities.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to document, optimize, and improve operational workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus.
- A passion for combining accounting, data analytics, and technology to solve business challenges.
