About the role#
Tenstorrent is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to join the Power Modeling & AI Tools team. You will work with experienced engineers to scale next-generation power modeling workflows for CPU and AI products. This role focuses on building tools, automation, and data-driven solutions to make complex engineering data more accessible and actionable.
What you'll do#
- Integrate and analyze engineering data to support workload profiling, model validation, and analytics.
- Develop internal tools, scripts, and AI-enabled interfaces to improve power model accuracy and reliability.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate technical insights.
- Contribute to modern software workflows, including the development of LLM-based tools and agentic AI interfaces.
- Support the development of software tools and automation workflows for engineering applications.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python and comfort working in code-first analysis environments.
- Familiarity with SQL, notebooks, scripting workflows, and Git-based development practices.
- Ability to build visualizations, dashboards, or lightweight analytical tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in AI-enabled engineering workflows.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $50/hr - $70/hr.
- Terms: Rolling basis.
