About the role#
MORSE Corp is looking for Data Scientist Graduate co-ops to develop analysis and application software for machine learning projects. You will work on software that supports the US National Security Ecosystem. This role involves iterative development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and build new features.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, manage, and analyze AI data using Python.
- Perform data analysis tasks, including evaluating performance metrics and metadata impacts.
- Build tools to simulate model outputs for operator experiments.
- Create data visualizations to present results and solutions.
- Assist with the development, execution, and testing of machine learning models.
- Design and build analysis software using Python.
- Evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
What you'll need#
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Currently working toward an MS or PhD in a quantitative subject.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with statistical analysis and building data visualizations.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is expected.
- Experience with scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, Spark, PySpark, or Docker is a plus.

- Compensation: $28 to $37 per hour.
