About the role#
MORSE Corp is looking for Full Stack Software Engineer Co-ops to help build tools for the US National Security Ecosystem. You will work on software to test and deploy machine learning, assist with mission planning, and automate complex test range tasks. This is a paid, full-time position that operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Build custom software packages and full stack applications for DoD customers.
- Write backend code for web platforms using Python.
- Develop front end interfaces using ReactJS.
- Use AWS or Azure tools to manage deployments and perform DevSecOps tasks.
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
- Analyze complex data problems and integrate open-source tools.
- Participate in code reviews and present your work to customers.
What you'll need#
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Enrollment in a BS or BA program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
- Knowledge of full stack development architectures and trends.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Docker and Spark is helpful.
- Strong communication skills.
