About the role#
MORSE Corp is looking for a Front End Software Engineer Co-op to join our team in Cambridge. You will build software applications and user interfaces that help users plan missions, assess data, and evaluate AI/ML capabilities. This role involves working on custom software packages and full stack tools for Department of Defense customers.
What you'll do#
- Develop web applications using ReactJS.
- Write extensible React components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Take ownership of feature design, development, and testing.
- Participate in code reviews by providing and receiving feedback.
- Integrate open-source software tools and algorithms to solve technical problems.
What you'll need#
- US Citizenship is required.
- You must be working toward a BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with ReactJS.
- A solid understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op position with a rolling term.
- Compensation is $28 to $33 per hour.
- We do not offer sponsorship for this role.
