About the role#
TD Direct Investing provides self-directed investors with the tools, resources, and education to manage their wealth. As an intern on the Education Content Strategy team, you will support the performance and production of our educational content, processes, and distribution strategies. This role is a 4-month work term starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Gather and review end-user feedback, industry trends, and consumption data to prioritize content development.
- Support social media efforts by scheduling content, tracking performance, and creating posts.
- Identify opportunities to optimize team processes and resource utilization.
- Assist with screening and onboarding guest speakers for live events.
- Develop recommendations to increase engagement with priority client segments.
- Collaborate with business partners to create tactics that raise awareness and engagement.
- Provide guidance on the digital roadmap to attract Gen-Z and millennial audiences.
- Optional: Support creative content execution, including video scripting, editorial reviews, and graphic design.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- Intent to return to school at the start of the work term.
- Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Capability to work as a team player across various business units.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to examine issues from multiple angles.
- Desirable: Familiarity with investing products, strategies, and digital content marketing.
- Asset: Experience with Microsoft Office, desktop publishing, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Location & details#
- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4 months).
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Compensation: $48,000 - $68,000 CAD.
