About the role#
We are looking for an IT PMO Intern to join our team in Tampa. This role focuses on supporting our Project Management Office through system administration, requirements gathering, and process improvement. You will work alongside project managers and system administrators to help streamline workflows and improve overall project visibility.
What you'll do#
- Manage user access and set up project templates within Smartsheet and other PMO tools.
- Work with project teams to capture business and technical requirements.
- Analyze current PMO processes and suggest improvements to increase effectiveness.
- Build dashboards and reports to track project status and budgets.
- Attend project meetings, record notes, and track action items with team members.
- Perform project documentation audits.
- Support the implementation and tracking of quality control processes.
What you'll need#
- You must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled in an accredited university.
- We are looking for students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or Project Management.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
- If applicable, you must provide proof of enrollment in a university co-op program.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with documentation or data management.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, the software development life cycle (SDLC), or cloud technologies.
- Relevant coursework or certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Agile.

- This internship is located in Tampa, Florida.
- The role is on-site at our office.
- This is a paid, full-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
