About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in chargeback operations within our broader Operations team. You will learn how the business functions and have a direct impact on the customer experience. This role suits a student with foundational business knowledge and a strong attention to detail.
What you'll do#
- Review customer accounts to compile evidence for bank disputes.
- Analyze chargeback data trends to identify risk factors and drive product improvements.
- Identify and contribute to process improvements.
- Participate in special projects, such as building tools to fight chargebacks.
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams on business-related projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a post-secondary student in a business-related major.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Workspaces.
- A passion for people, processes, and systems.
- Ability to learn quickly, combined with a strong work ethic.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- 1-2 work terms of experience are preferred.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 4, 2027 to April 30, 2027).
- Work Modality: Remote within Canada.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) with a minimum 6-hour overlap with Eastern Time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
