About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the team as an Underwriting Analyst to gain experience in the insurance industry while working on data-driven projects.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze data from rules engines and accelerated underwriting programs.
- Create and develop reports based on your findings.
- Work with peers and management to suggest improvements to current processes.
- Build relationships with internal partners in Operations, Data Science, and Pricing to help drive results.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics.
- Graduation date of April 2027 or later.
- Strong technical and data analytics skills.
- Experience with Excel and other statistical applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resourceful and results-oriented mindset.
