About the role#
This is an 8-month full-time internship for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms. You will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and assist the team with quarter and year end processes. This role is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support quarter and year end reporting, including financial statement preparation.
- Review external financial statements by proofreading, checking data inputs, and performing validation checks.
- Prepare financial statements for non-public companies for tax and governance purposes.
- Manage project control for the audit process by tracking requirements and ensuring timely deliverables.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives during off-quarter periods.
- Ensure effective record keeping, filing, and delivery to support external audits.
- Participate in a training program while working toward your CPA designation.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree with the intent to obtain a CPA designation.
- Strong academic record and leadership experience.
- Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage pressing deadlines and changing conditions.
- High level of dedication and flexibility to work significant overtime when required.

- This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The work modality is hybrid, combining in-person and remote work.
