About the role#
STV is hiring a Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside our team on infrastructure projects. This role requires you to be in the office at least 3 days per week. We prefer candidates who can commit to the internship for at least 3 months.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design of civil engineering projects from the initial concept through to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, environmental engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address project needs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
- Prepare technical reports, project narratives, and development applications.
- Use engineering software to develop designs and support technical documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.
- Knowledge of design software such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or Open Roads Designer.
- Previous experience within the architecture, engineering, or construction management industry.
