About the role#
As a Civil Construction Intern, you will gain hands-on field experience by working alongside our construction engineering professionals. You will support the inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects while receiving mentorship from project managers and engineers. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects.
- Engage in construction observation.
- Participate in project documentation.
- Learn directly from experienced engineers and project managers.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- EIT status is preferred.
- Experience working on field projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, or AutoCAD is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently within budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
