About the role#
This Quality Engineering internship is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our facilities in San Jose or Irvine, California. As an intern, you will apply your academic background to real-world medical technology projects while gaining professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Apply your classroom knowledge to support engineering projects.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product sustainment.
- Evaluate risk and ensure that user needs are met for medical products.
- Document complex processes and present your findings in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
