About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will work on-site at our Cary, Illinois facility. You will contribute to projects that help bring medical products to market. This role involves working with design and operations teams to improve efficiency and safety.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with design and operations teams to bring products to market efficiently.
- Perform fixture development and assembly line optimization.
- Implement lean manufacturing and process validation.
- Execute ergonomics and safety improvements.
- Document complex processes and present them in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative 3.0 GPA or above.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
