About the role#
Stryker is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Massachusetts. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work on projects within Research and Development, New Product Development, or Test Lab teams. This role is a rolling opportunity for students currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate across functions to identify the needs and goals of future products.
- Research new technologies, business requirements, and customer expectations.
- Design and build fixtures to simulate real-life situations.
- Perform quantitative testing of product technical specifications.
- Document complex processes and present your findings in a clear format.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- You must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employment-based sponsorship.
