About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a consultative guide for students and families using our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help users understand our offerings and complete their orders. This is a part-time, seasonal internship that operates remotely.
What you'll do#
- Manage inbound leads from our website and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service use.
- Send service estimates to customers through email, SMS, and phone calls.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to finalize their bookings.
- Suggest service upgrades and additional options to customers.
- Generate new referrals for the company.
What you'll need#
- Strong sales aptitude and clear communication skills.
- A professional phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence for interacting with clients and teammates.
- Ability to think critically and adapt to changing workloads.
- Technical comfort with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is required during the peak season from March through September.
- The internship runs from January 2027 through August 2027.
- Compensation includes base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
