About the role#
As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you will act as a consultative guide for students and families navigating our move-in, storage, and shipping services. You will join our Customer Experience Team to help users understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, seasonal internship that is fully remote.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from lead form submissions and incoming calls.
- Make proactive phone calls to existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide service estimates using phone, SMS, and email.
- Guide customers through the online ordering process to book their moves.
- Promote service upgrades and additional offerings while working to generate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong aptitude for sales.
- Strong critical thinking and high emotional intelligence.
- A clear, professional phone presence.
- Ability to handle shifting priorities and intense workloads.
- Technical proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Experience in customer-facing roles like retail or hospitality is preferred (1-2 years).
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The internship spans Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
- This is a paid position featuring base pay plus commission based on sales performance.
- Expect 15-25 hours per week, with potential for up to 40 hours during the peak season of March through May.
