About the role#
As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you will act as a consultative guide for students and families navigating our moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join our Customer Experience Team to help customers understand our offerings and complete their bookings. This is a part-time, remote internship for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide accurate service estimates via phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to finalize their move bookings.
- Suggest service upgrades and additional options to customers.
- Generate new referrals for the business.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a natural aptitude for sales.
- Strong critical thinking and high emotional intelligence.
- A confident phone presence.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle intense workloads.
- Tech-savviness and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- This is a paid, part-time internship.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- The schedule requires flexibility, including some evenings and weekends during the peak season of March through September.
