About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a consultative guide for students needing help with move-in, move-out, storage, and shipping services. You will join our Customer Experience Team to help customers understand and adopt our service offerings.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from website forms and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide service estimates through phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to book their moves.
- Recommend additional services, upgrades, and generate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- Comfort with intense workloads and shifting priorities.
- A strong phone presence and high emotional intelligence.
- Tech-savviness and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1-2 years of customer-facing experience in fields like retail or hospitality is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time internship.
- You will work 15-25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- The role requires a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends during the peak season from March through September.
- The internship runs from January 2027 through August 2027.
- Compensation includes base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
