About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a guide for customers using our student moving, storage, and shipping services. You will work within the Customer Experience Team to help users understand and adopt our service offerings. This is a part-time, seasonal internship.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from lead form submissions and incoming calls.
- Make proactive phone calls to existing and former customers to encourage service usage.
- Provide service estimates via phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate the online portal to complete their orders.
- Promote service upgrades and additional offerings while generating referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Strong critical thinking skills and high emotional intelligence.
- A strong phone presence.
- The ability to handle intense workloads and changes.
- To be technologically savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- 1-2 years of customer-facing experience is preferred, such as work in retail, hospitality, or customer service.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The position is part-time, averaging 15-25 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- Applicants should be available for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season of March through September.
- This internship runs from January 2027 through August 2027.
- Compensation includes a base pay plus commission, with estimated seasonal earnings between $4,500 and $10,000.
