About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a guide for customers using our student moving, storage, and shipping services. You will join the Customer Experience Team to help users understand and adopt our service offerings.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from form submissions and inbound calls.
- Make proactive phone calls to existing and former customers.
- Provide service estimates via call, SMS, and email.
- Guide customers through the order flow in our online portal.
- Promote additional services and service upgrades.
- Generate referrals.
What you'll need#
- Exceptional communication skills and a strong sales aptitude.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- The ability to handle changes and intense workloads.
- A strong phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Tech-savviness and the ability to learn new software.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a fully remote, part-time internship.
- The role runs from Winter 2027 through Summer 2027.
- You will work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the possibility of up to 40 hours per week from March through May.
- You must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season from March to September.
- This is a paid position with base pay plus commission.
