About the role#
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a guide for customers using our student moving, storage, and shipping services. You will work within the Customer Experience Team to help users understand our offerings and complete their orders. This is a part-time, seasonal internship that is fully remote.
What you'll do#
- Field inbound leads from lead form submissions and phone calls.
- Call existing and former customers to promote our services.
- Provide service estimates using phone, SMS, and email.
- Help customers navigate our online portal to book their moves.
- Suggest additional services and upgrades to customers.
- Generate new referrals for the business.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills and sales aptitude.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems.
- A strong phone presence.
- High emotional intelligence to work with team members and clients.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Capacity to handle changing priorities and high workloads.
- 1 to 2 years of customer-facing experience, such as retail or hospitality, is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is fully remote.
- The position is available for Winter and Summer 2027.
- Expect to work 15 to 25 hours per week on average, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week between March and May.
- You must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season of March through September.
