About the role#
The Eaton Partners Private Capital Advisory Summer Analyst program is a 10-week internship based in New York. This role introduces undergraduates to the daily responsibilities of an analyst within Private Capital Advisory. You will work alongside deal team professionals ranging from analysts to managing directors. The program includes structured training, mentorship, and social networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Manage day-to-day project tasks for transactions.
- Assist senior bankers in creating marketing materials and pitch books.
- Conduct industry research and maintain internal databases.
- Perform quantitative financial analysis and modeling for clients and portfolios.
- Participate in team meetings and discussions.
- Build reports and log information in Salesforce.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Strong interest in private markets.
- Excellent quantitative, interpretive, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and a disciplined work ethic.
- Significant exposure to finance and accounting coursework or experience.
- Superior attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
