About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on introduction to the work of an Investment Banking Analyst within the Metals and Mining team. You will work alongside banking professionals ranging from Analysts to Managing Directors. The role involves supporting advisory and financing transactions while managing multiple projects at once.
What you'll do#
- Build financial models to analyze potential transactions.
- Prepare client presentation materials, including PowerPoint slides and pitch book summaries.
- Perform quantitative financial analyses, such as corporate and asset valuations.
- Maintain databases regarding transaction activity and company financials.
- Analyze current events and market news to determine their impact on clients.
- Collaborate with banking teams to execute transactions.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a 3rd year student in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Expected graduation from an undergraduate program in Spring 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Exposure to finance, accounting, and quantitative modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience with financial modeling and analysis is preferred.

- Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 annually.
