About the role#
The Corporate Finance department at StepStone Group creates financial forecasts and advises the senior management team and Board of Directors on financial performance, outlook, and capital structure. Summer Analysts join this team to gain practical experience in a professional, collaborative environment. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare management team reporting for quarter-end deliverables.
- Gather and organize data to support KPI reporting.
- Complete a strategic Corporate Finance project with supervision and guidance from the team.
- Assist in the development of additional KPIs to support management team decision-making.
- Update the firm's internal financial model.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate student status with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative and modeling skills.
- Ability to work legally in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
