About the role#
Davenport & Company LLC is hiring interns for the summer of 2027 within our Public Finance division. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site. You will work alongside senior executives to provide financial advice, analysis, and consulting services to non-profit institutions and state or local governments.
What you'll do#
Your primary focus will be financial database research and development. You will support senior staff as they design and carry out financial strategies for our clients. This eight-week program offers a chance to gain practical experience in the financial services sector.
What you'll need#
- Graduation date scheduled for December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and superior writing abilities.
- A background in Finance or Economics is preferred.
Location & details#
This internship takes place on-site in Richmond, Virginia. Other potential office locations include Towson, Maryland; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Roswell, Georgia. The program lasts for eight weeks, with the schedule determined by mutual agreement.
