About the role#
This summer internship supports the Business Development team at StepStone Group. You will work with client-facing sales professionals to help grow the firm's business and maintain relationships with investors. This role offers exposure to private markets, sales strategy, and the business side of the investment industry.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain data in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Create standardized and ad-hoc business development reports.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Communications team on event and conference logistics.
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the local Business Development team.
- Provide general support for the Global Business Development team on various projects.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Proficient skills in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
