About the role#
Davenport & Company LLC is hiring a Public Finance intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based in our Atlanta office. You will work directly with senior executives to help design and execute financial strategies for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research using financial databases.
- Assist with the development of internal financial databases.
- Support senior staff in the design of financial strategies.
- Help execute financial strategies for state and local governments and non-profit institutions.
What you'll need#
- You must be scheduled to graduate from college in May 2028.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA is required.
- You need proficiency in Excel.
- You must have superior writing skills.
- Relevant coursework in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.

- This role is located in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The position is on-site.
- This is an eight-week internship scheduled for Summer 2027.
