About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the technical and strategic sides of finance. You will contribute to financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting that influence business decisions. The program emphasizes collaboration across departments and interaction with management to provide insight into how finance supports the organization. This position is based in Columbia City, Indiana, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support business decision-making.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office applications.
- Support the finance team in managing budgets, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
- Conduct research to provide insights on company performance, industry trends, and competitors.
- Collaborate with team members, managers, and other departments to complete finance-related projects.
- Participate in meetings with internal teams, clients, or vendors to support ongoing initiatives.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness when completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively on a team.
