About the role#
We are looking for a Civil Engineering student to join our Transportation Engineering group in Louisville. This is a full-time, paid co-op position available for the Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 terms. You will work alongside our experienced practitioners to support local infrastructure projects. This role requires you to work on-site.
What you'll do#
- Develop roadway, signing, marking, lighting, and signal plans.
- Prepare project reports and documentation.
- Perform quantity calculations.
- Handle general office assignments.
- Conduct occasional field work.
- Drive a company vehicle as needed for project tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree in Civil Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with Microstation and OpenRoads is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
