About the role#
As a Water Resources Co-op for the Fall 2025 term, you will join our team in Blue Ash, Ohio. You will gain exposure to projects ranging from planning and design through construction and implementation. Our work covers flood protection, dams, river diversions, land development, and stream restoration. While you will work primarily with the Water Resources group, you may also support our Geotechnical, Transportation, and Environmental Services teams.
What you'll do#
- Process and manage data using GIS to support hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
- Build surface models in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare design and construction plans, specifications, quantity take-offs, and construction estimates.
- Create spreadsheets, graphs, and figures for design reports.
- Assist with field work, including data collection, site inspections, and observations.
- Support project managers with tasks to track and advance project progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree program or a related technical discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro is preferred.
- Exposure to H&H software such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, or SWMM is a plus.
