About the role#
Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Winter 2027 term in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work on transportation infrastructure projects such as highways, interchanges, and toll plazas.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the preparation of reports and contract documents.
- Perform computer-aided design and drafting.
- Check drawings and verify calculations.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and perform simple engineering calculations.
- Participate in field inspections, which may involve working in various weather conditions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor's program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Good academic standing.
- Some exposure to CAD design programs.
