About the role#
We are looking for a Civil Engineering student to join our transportation group for the Winter 2027 term. You will support the planning and design of major transit infrastructure, rail, and road projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Markham, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Assist project engineers and managers with daily tasks and professional services for public and private sector clients.
- Contribute to large-scale projects such as LRT, road reconstruction, utility, or environmental assessments.
- Perform office-based work with the potential for occasional field visits.
- Collaborate with team members to support project objectives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree or diploma program and completion of high school.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Working knowledge of transportation software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- A self-motivated approach to your work.
- A driver's license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset.
