About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Intern will work on the plant floor to enhance manufacturing processes using Lean methodologies. You will analyze current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to boost productivity. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Conduct time studies for assembly lines and other manufacturing processes.
- Develop standardized work procedures.
- Identify waste within manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to problem-solving initiatives and participate in structured Kaizen events.
- Manage and oversee cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Engineering degree, with a preference for process or industrial engineering.
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with project management, Lean manufacturing, and process management is preferred.
