All we need is you.The opportunitySouthern New Hampshire University’s traditional campus is seeking an IDEA Lab Assistant for the School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics (SETA). The IDEA Lab Assistant will be responsible for working with students on their projects. The IDEA Lab Assistant will ensure that students adhere to all safety protocols and support student projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee IDEA Lab safetyTeach machine fundamentals as requiredOversee other project team workOne IDEA Lab Assistant per machine per team Ensure that student groups cleanup machining areas and put all tools away Report broken tooling Report all injuries Attend monthly meetings Other duties as assigned by the lab coordinatorMinimum Requirements:Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree programWork study part of financial aid packageWe believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated.
