About the role#
This Sales Internship offers a mix of field and office experience. You will spend about 70% of your time working with sales representatives in the field, visiting grocery chains, liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and hotels. The remaining 30% of your time will be based in the Cerritos office, where you will network with executives and learn from departments like Trade Development, Customer Service, and Inside Sales.
What you'll do#
- Support different sales divisions while learning about the business.
- Gain knowledge in sales, product lines, operations, trade development, and mixology.
- Stay current with the activities of the sales teams you support.
- Plan and execute a local volunteer project.
- Develop and present a final project based on your experience with the sales divisions.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college Junior graduating the following year with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- You must be 21 years of age or older by the start of the internship.
- You must reside in the vicinity of Cerritos or have the ability to obtain housing.
- Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver's license and auto-liability insurance.
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work as part of a team, and show attention to detail.
- A self-starter mindset with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 48 lbs, as well as driving for up to 2 hours at a time.
