About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the OneTech division at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. You will gain exposure to the beverage distribution industry while working alongside the Quality Assurance team. This role involves learning how technology enables business operations across various departments, including Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Digital Strategy. You will participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Build skills in software test automation by developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Execute both manual and automated test cases to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Apply automation testing best practices.
- Support assigned projects and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders.
- Complete an end-of-internship project and present your findings to management.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 21 years old by the start of the internship.
- You must be a college junior graduating the following year.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Sales, or Project Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals, web applications, and APIs.
- Experience with AI coding assistance and prompt engineering.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and follow established procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
