About the role#
This paid internship program provides an introduction to the beverage distribution system. You will gain exposure to the operations function, which manages the physical flow of products from manufacturing to the retailer. The program runs from May 17th to July 30th, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Work with automated material handling products integrated with voice picking and conveyor control software.
- Gain exposure to supply chain technology.
- Shadow supply chain management leadership.
- Tour distribution centers.
- Assist with warehouse and inventory management, demand planning, and replenishment.
- Support inbound transportation, delivery operations, and fleet management.
- Engage with environmental health and safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Must be 21 years of age or older by the start of the internship.
- Ability to reside in the Union City area.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize multiple projects and work well within a team.
- Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver license, auto-liability insurance, and a State Sales Permit.
