About the role#
This is a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. You will work on real-world challenges within the utility and energy sector. This full-time, paid position offers the chance to apply your academic knowledge while growing your skills under the guidance of a mentor.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects.
- Gain hands-on experience using industry-relevant software and tools.
- Build your professional network by participating in intern events.
- Present your project at the annual Intern Expo.
- Ensure the protection of physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and integrity when accessing sensitive information.
- Demonstrate effective and open communication throughout your internship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering at an accredited institution.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Westminster, California.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May/June to August/September).
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on others. Employees are required to reside in California.
