About the role#
This internship provides practical experience in computer-aided drafting (CAD) within the utilities industry. You will work on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma, five days a week. This is a paid, full-time position that helps you build a foundation for your future career.
What you'll do#
- Create and update 3D inventory parts, assemblies, and drawings.
- Produce and revise 2D AutoCAD Electrical drawings.
- Maintain engineering records, sketches, and facilities documentation.
- Gather project information from field notes, site visits, technical manuals, and vendor catalogs.
- Perform mathematical calculations and interpret vendor prints or equipment instructions.
- Use software including AutoCAD Electrical, Civil3D, Inventor, and Vault.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior in line with company policies.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year toward an associate degree in drafting, CAD, or a related engineering technology field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Familiarity with conventional drafting symbols and methods.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on education hours.
