About the role#
This is a 12-week internship program where you will join a small cohort to work alongside mentors and senior team members. You will start by learning our research process before ramping up to full projects, including a capstone. Successful completion of the program provides priority consideration for open full-time roles.
What you'll do#
- Support research projects and synthesize findings for the team.
- Monitor user app engagement metrics using internal dashboards.
- Conduct benchmarking and ongoing monitoring of competitors.
- Set up and take part in UX quality assurance reviews.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in a related field with a graduation date in 2025, or a new grad with around 1 or fewer years of experience.
- Understanding of user research fundamentals and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and collaborate well with others.
- Proactive mindset and an eagerness to learn.
- A genuine interest in sports.
- Preferred: Degree in HCI, information sciences, stats, data analytics, human-centered design, or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience running usability tests for mobile apps.
- Preferred: Familiarity with remote testing tools, surveys, or analytics dashboards.
- Preferred: Experience with fantasy sports, daily fantasy, or sports betting.
Location & details#
- Locations: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY.
- Modality: Hybrid (2 days in office for SF) or remote for California and New York City residents.
- Compensation: $20 to $32 per hour.
- Employment: Full-time, 3-month term with rolling start dates.
