About the role#
Sleeper is a platform that connects friends over sports through games, scores, and social features. As a Product Design Intern, you will join a small team to build experiences for over 8 million users. This is a full-time, 12-week paid internship. We are looking for people who want to own their work and grow their skills within a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Design experiences across iOS, Android, Web, and Tablet.
- Collaborate with other designers during ideation sessions.
- Receive mentorship and feedback from senior designers.
- Own the end-to-end execution of your design projects.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for engineering teams.
- Build design solutions using our existing design systems.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our design system.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio, deck, or sample work that shows your design foundations.
- The ability to work with Product, Engineering, and other partners.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of UX, interaction, and visual design.
- A willingness to learn and grow your skills.
- A background in Psychology or other relevant fields is a plus.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Seattle, Washington or New York City, New York.
- Compensation is $20 to $30 per hour.
- This is a full-time position for a 12-week term.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship.
