About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Fall 2026 term. Interns work on-site in Washington, DC, to support the public affairs team in navigating complex issues and shaping client narratives.
What you'll do#
Interns support 5 to 6 client teams across various projects. Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and distributing daily press clips.
- Creating and maintaining press lists of reporters, editors, producers, and bookers.
- Conducting research on policy issues.
- Monitoring media coverage and providing crisis response support.
- Taking notes during internal and client-facing meetings.
- Drafting materials, including press releases, pitches, and social media content.
What you'll need#
This role is open to students or graduates with backgrounds in Communications, Political Science, Journalism, Public Health, or Business Administration. Candidates should be prepared to handle media monitoring, research, and administrative tasks in a professional environment.
